Imagine if you will, deep in the small South American Country of Honduras, thousands of people simultaneously gather with one purpose in mind, walking to the US. Thousands of people, all at once decide to follow the yellow brick road to a better life in a country they hate. They hate the US; they call it’s President the anti-Christ, they burn its flag while proudly waving theirs, yet somehow they are all willing to risk their lives walking about 1300 miles to get there. Yes, all this with no organizers, no funding, no supplies, no help from outside groups what so ever. Horse feathers! Maybe they’re all just friends on Facebook, or following some #walktotheUS trending on Twitter?
You know, they say lightning never strikes the same place twice, but indeed it has as a 2nd ‘caravan’ has formed in the exact same place for the exact same reason – USA or bust! But wait, there’s more! Now we have reports of a 3rd ‘caravan’ forming and heading our way! Aren’t we lucky!
Peaceful refugees fleeing violence in their own country, hardly. Make no mistake, the policies of our Government have created this invasion. The ridiculous catch and release policies, allowing illegal aliens in our public schools, sanctuary cities and our overly generous welfare system are a magnet to these invaders.
‘Migrants’ attacking the Mexican border – wait, they have a wall? Wow, I guess that means Mexico must be run by a bunch of racists, who knew!
Do these violent attackers look like someone you would want living in your neighborhood? Where are all the needy women and children the media are telling us about; I’m sorry, but they all look to be military age men. Oh, and just how are they traveling 60-70 miles a day on foot? Answer, they’re not – they are getting help and someone is paying for this.
Don’t be fooled, these are not refugees fleeing their war torn homeland in desperate need of our help. Would actual refugees be carrying the flag of the country they are supposedly fleeing, would they be burning American flags? No, these are invaders and should be treated as such. Ask yourself this, why would the media and left wing politicians demand we let these people in to our Country? It’s OK, you know the answer.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Well said, we must stop them if so dead. Haven’t seen many women and children. They would not assimilate, we don’t need them. Mexicans and central Americans here legally don’t need or want the job competition. Too many workers for static low level jobs will create lower paying jobs.

The problem is the few that are genuinely fleeing for their lives.
As such these ‘caravans’ are a curse to them let alone you.
Yet what if the caravans weren’t a factor?
I wonder if the US would still consider asylum to the genuine few as the rhetoric from the top is hostile to say the least.

There are currently American consulates in all these countries where they can apply for asylum, currently 12 in Mexico. What is often overlooked is that 2/3 of all immigrants come in to the US legally, those that come in illegally often don’t qualify for asylum due to something on their record. God bless.

I chuckle, but respectfully.
When running abroad for your life the last thing to use is a foreign embassy or consulate.
A refugee camp or an NGO yes, even the Church, but a foreign consulate, or embassy?
No way in hell.
That’s because the state or person(s) chasing usually accuse them of a B.S. crime and as such consular or embassy staff may pick up on the local flag over their name.
After that its usually self preservation on their part (plus the reward) AND, to put it bluntly, US rules on letting in criminals, convicted or not. AND THEY WILL BE DEEMED GUILTY until the charges are dropped which usually means dealing with the very people they are running from.
That and the danger of some ‘political agreement’ by the US state department with that particular cracker-ball state. big business, or ‘friendly’ organization.
Unless they have something ‘State’ want.
As for a local nobody, a nothing, desperate person asking for help or asylum?
It’s naive to think that happens easily unless that person has status, money, or high level representation. Like in the US, that all counts towards your credibility.
As for the little people?
It’s doubtful anything will be resolved on the first (enter number) times they attend countless interviews.
Even worse is the continuing demands for proof, identification (which they may be reluctant to produce (for self preservation), and whatever.
The kicker is usually when they get told their story is going to be checked out with the local or state authorities. The very people some are trying to escape from.
That’s where refugee camps, NGO’s, and the Church can be a useful alternative.
Slow, VERY SLOW and painful at times. but all three have had many successes.
Not forgetting a transit agent. The grey side of immigration. Maybe a bit unreliable to darn right dangerous but they do have their advantages.
To save a life in a timely fashion, the sensible or desperate will always use a more reliable way of surviving or transit without the dangers of doing things “properly”.
They buy their freedom.
